Our Vision
The objective of the sustainable development programme is to implement long-term development projects that focus on the need of youths in developing countries and mainstream them into the development process. Youth Challenge will provide technical assistance and in some cases, funding for the projects. YC will build the projects up over a span of two to five years before handing them over to the implementing organization for succession.
Our Approach
- We mobilize the enthusiasm and creativity of our volunteers and members in international aid missions, ranging from short-term emergency relief missions to long-term community rehabilitation missions.
- We galvanize local organizations and universities to provide training, mentorship and guidance to our programmes and participants. We also promote the development of young professionals keen on a career with international humanitarian organizations.
