Youth Challenge (Singapore) is a non-governmental organization that champions youth causes. Youth Challenge is a member of the National Council of Social Services (NCSS) in Singapore and it is associated with the United Nations Department of Public Information in New York.


It is a registered Charity (COC-0870) and a registered Society (S85SS0102C) in Singapore and was founded in 1985 to address the problem of the Centrepoint Kids who were youths loitering at malls. On February 15th 2009, Youth Challenge was approved as an Institution of Public Character for 1 year by the Commissioner of Charities.


Youth Challenge has 24 years of experience pioneering exclusively the field of youth development. It has touched over 15,000 youths and has an unequalled history and position in Singapore. Today, Youth Challenge is “renewed, reinvented and re-invigorated” and has returned confidently with a vision of “A Place Called Hope” for needy youths.
